Join us on May 1st at Seasons 52, 5096 Big Island Drive, for First Wednesday Lunch with the League with guest speaker Andrew Pantazi, Founding Editor at The Tributary. Andrew will talk about his work as an editor and reporter for The Tributary, as well as current issues impacting Northeast Florida.
A graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, Andrew Pantazi edits and reports for The Tributary. He previously worked as a reporter at The Florida Times-Union where he helped organize the newsroom's union with the NewsGuild-CWA. He is a Jacksonville native raising his two sons in the city.
The Tributary is a nonprofit, nonpartisan newsroom that investigates Jacksonville’s entrenched problems and proposed solutions through collaboration with existing local media. It complements existing local news by focusing on under-reported topics such as redistricting, children’s issues, infrastructure, racial inequities and the criminal justice system.
